A new year, another HR Awards for The Lawyer at The Grosvenor in London, presented by Jeremy Vine. A huge awards ceremony combining a celebration of the great HR work being conducted in Law Firms across the UK and worthwhile fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support. I was booked for five hours to capture natural, capturing-the-moment awards photography, with over 4oo images being supplied by FTP the following day. This is just a very small snapshot of images captured during the evening’s schedule.

A huge annual event at the Grosvenor House was one of the most challenging award evenings I have shot. It was my role to take natural awards photography, capturing the event and attendees with a list of approximately 60 specific individuals that the client wanted photographed aat the venue. With camera, names and a table plan to hand the photography needed to be conducted effectively and efficiently to allow time to complete this task whilst also covering reaction and winners of all the awards. I love this venue, it’s always a pleasure to shoot there. Over 500 images were supplied to the client the next day. Here are just a few of the more reportage style photographs.

The Lawyer HR Awards were held at The Grosvenor House, London and are the only awards dedicated to Legal HR and people management. The aim is to celebrate excellence in the effective deployment of HR strategy and my task was to capture awards photography  designed to capture the spirit of the event with a range of reportage images, together with softly directed, formal shots of the winners on stage. Images were supplied by 8am the following day so that the story could be published online that morning.
